New York Courts: Halfmoon Justice Court in Saratoga County
The Halfmoon Justice Court has jurisdiction over traffic tickets such as speeding tickets and misdemeanors such as driving while intoxicated [DWI] committed within the Town of Moreau, New York. The Halfmoon Justice Court also has preliminary jurisdiction over felonies committed within the Town of Halfmoon, New York.

Judge Wormuth handles all first appearances on the first and third Thursday of the month starting at 7:00 P.M. Judge Wortmuth handles criminal cases on second and fourth Tuesday of each month starting at 5:30 P.M. Judge Wormuth handles vehicle and traffic trials on the third Monday of each month starting at 5:30 P.M.
Judge Tollisen handles all first appearances on the second and fourth Thursday of each month starting at 7:00 P.M. Judge Tollisen handles criminal cases on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month starting at 5:30 P.M. Judge Tollisen handles vehicle and traffic trials on second Thursday of each month starting at 5:30 P.M.
The Halfmoon Justice Court Clerk’s Office is open weekdays from 9:00 A.m. to 4:00 P.M. Judge Wormuth’s full time clerks are Marlene A. Carey and Cathy Leggett. Judge Worrmuth’s part-time clerk is Virginia Loffredo. Judge Tollisen’s full time clerks are Christine Phillips and Jacqueline Bigelow. Judge Tollisen’s part-time clerk is Virginia Daigle.
The Saratoga County District Attorney’s Office is responsible for prosecuting all criminal and traffic violations in the Halfmoon Justice Court.
